About

Global Action Project works with youth most affected by injustice to build the knowledge, tools, and relationships needed to create media for community power, cultural expression, and political change. They are working-class youth of color, ages 15-21, many of whom identify with LGBTQ and immigrant communities. GAP supports: the leadership, creativity, critical thinking, and community engagement of youth through collaborative social-issue media production; community organizers enhancing their campaigns via targeted, cross-generational trainings in creative youth engagement and media production; and outreach of youth-produced media to annual audiences of 250,000 and larger, as well as organizers and educators seeking curricula for social justice.
